- Should I send my child with food or water? Snacks will be provided, so no need for food. Yes to water! A labeled water bottle would be great.
- My child has allergies, how will this be handled? We have asked for your child's medical and allergy information during registration. Our snack team is very familiar with accommodating those with allergies and special dietary restrictions. They will have a master rotation list of kiddos and who is allergic to what. In addition, your child will have a wristband indicating allergies. If you have additional questions or concerns, you are welcome to chat with our Snack Lead on the first day of VBS.
- What should my child wear? Something comfortable to play games and move around in. If registered by June 1, a t-shirt will be given to your child on the first day
- If I register my child and their friend, can they be in the same group? Yes! We will do our best to accommodate all requests to keep friends or siblings in the same group. The only way we won't is if they are too spread apart in grade.
- What are the age groups for the VBS? We generally group our kids 4/5s, K/1st, 2nd/3rd, 4th/5th. This is dependent on how many kids we have registered
- Am I able to volunteer for VBS? Absolutely! We would love to have you. Please fill out the volunteer request form by clicking here and you will be contacted. We background check all of our volunteers who serve directly with children.
- Can I watch my child during their rotations? We do ask that you not stay during the whole day unless you are a registered volunteer. You are welcome to stay for the opening or closing sessions each day.
- What do I need to pick my child up? Just your guardian/parent sticker tag you receive at check-in. If you have someone other than yourself picking them up, please make sure they are on the approved drop-off list and either have the sticker or their ID handy.
- I didn't register in time to receive a T-shirt. Can I still get one? We will have a limited supply of extra shirts that will be given out based on sizes and when a child has registered. To guarantee your child receives a shirt in their correct size, please register by June 1st!
- How can I listen to the music that my child will be learning during the week? We will have a Spotify playlist available to all registered families a week or two prior to VBS so they can start listening and learning the songs!
