Event Date: May 19, 2017
Pornography and issues of trust in relationships can be a really confusing and lonely space within the church. It isn’t something that often comes up among girlfriends and its hard to know what our response as Christian women should be when we are confronted with these things within the context of our marriage or significant relationships. Often times, the discovery of this can leave women with many questions and not a lot of safe spaces for answers.
Come join some women of NCC who have walked through these issues in their relationship for a time of sharing as well as a Question and Answer session. All questions will be submitted and answered in an anonymous format and confidentiality will be highly protected. Also, if your heart is to support and encourage others in this area even if this isn't a current or past issue in your own life, we’d love for you to come too!
We will be sharing a bit about the Church’s recovery program (currently only for men), what healthy boundaries might look like, and also how you can safeguard yourself and your marriage from pornography.
This event will be Friday night, May 19 from 7-9 PM at the church office and is open to all adult NCC women. For questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and someone will contact you.
